Every paid plan can be billed monthly or annually, and annual billing is roughly two months free: Pro is $180/year (about $15/month instead of $19), Business is $490/year (about $41/month instead of $49) and Agency is $1,290/year (about $108/month instead of $129). Choose Monthly or Annual on the Billing page in your account when you subscribe. You can move an existing subscription between the two there as well; changing plan keeps the billing period you are on. Monthly plans are month-to-month with no lock-in.
One monitor is one target you watch — an HTTP, keyword, port, ping or JSON-assertion check, a cron/heartbeat monitor, or an SSL/DNS/domain watch each occupy one monitor slot. The Free plan includes 10 monitors, Pro 50, Business 250 and Agency 500. History is stored at a resolution that decays with age: full-resolution per-check data is kept for 48 hours, hourly statistics for 90 days, and daily uptime/SLA history for the life of the account. Your plan sets how far back you can see it: 14 days on Free, 1 year on Pro, 2 years on Business and Agency, 3 years on Enterprise. Older history is not deleted; it is shown again when you upgrade.

Paid tiers scale it up (more monitors, faster intervals, longer history and bulk multi-domain audits on Business and Agency) rather than gating it.
The Agency plan raises client workspaces to 100 (every paid plan has them: Pro 3, Business 10 and Agency 100), and adds up to 100 white-label status pages and reports carrying your own logo and domain, bulk security audits across up to 500 domains, and the right to resell monitoring as your own service — the reseller lane UptimeRobot and Oh Dear explicitly refuse. Business includes white-label; resale rights are Agency-only.
Enterprise is priced to your estate rather than from a price list, so there is no public monthly figure — talk to us and we will quote it. The monitor cap counts running monitors, so paused monitors never use a slot; when you reach it you add capacity by upgrading (or pausing or removing a monitor) — you are never billed for overage automatically. Every no-cost alert channel — email, Slack, Teams, Discord, Telegram and webhooks among them — is included on every plan, including Free; the PagerDuty and Opsgenie pager integrations and the GitHub/GitLab/Jira/Linear ticketing integrations are included from Pro up.
Yes. Paid plans are month-to-month (or annual, if you chose annual billing) and you can cancel or switch tiers anytime — there is no lock-in or cancellation fee. The free tier is free forever, so you can always drop back to it instead of losing monitoring entirely. Moving to a smaller plan deletes none of your monitors, channels or team: monitors over its limit are paused, team members beyond its seats are suspended and pager and ticketing channels stop receiving alerts, and all of that comes back automatically when you upgrade again. Settings the new plan does not offer, such as extra monitoring regions, faster check intervals or a custom status-page domain, are reset to what it allows and need setting again after an upgrade. We email the owners exactly what changed.
